This position has organizational impact by supporting partnerships with current employers and developing relationships with new employers to increase ECEs (Enriched Career Experiences) and employment opportunities. This position will also, engage and partner with alumni and other stakeholders for ECEs, Cranberry Investment internships and employment opportunities.

Specific responsibilities include:
  •  Working in a team-based department to execute Career Development and Success (CDS) employer relations strategies, objectives and initiatives with a specific focus on liberal arts and science majors in the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS).
  • Serve as a liaison between the University and employers. 
  • Maximize student employment outcomes by expanding Enriched Career Experiences -ECE (internships, co-ops, fieldwork, research, scholarship, arts, media & creative productions) and employment opportunities. 

Position Requirements

  •  A Bachelor’s degree along with 2-3 years of work experience in a corporate/industry or university career services setting. 
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain partnerships
  • Demonstrated professionalism. 
  • Demonstrated exceptional organization, written, time management, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated overall knowledge of science disciplines and professional fields.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and to work independently in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible with local travel (required)
  • Car and an in good standing driver’s license are required. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
