Job Description
Summary
Dr. O'Malley has been awarded a new cancer research grant COREGEN . This grant is based on pre-IND enabling studies using adoptive cell based therapies for the treatment of cancer.
The lab is seeking a summer intern with an interest in basic sciences that will be here short summer term to help with needed basic research to run experiments.
Job Duties
- Performs laboratory tests, including post-analytic phases.
- Prepares samples/specimens.
- Produce accurate and reliable data.
- Follows established procedures in performing routine duties, which may require some decision-making.
- Samples of duties may include: typing routine assays, preparing media and solutions, general lab experiments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a High School or College Student (undergraduate or graduate).
- No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Student must know mechanics and methods of a specific position by having previous training or work experience.
- Individual should at least be a high school graduate or freshman in college that has an interest in basic sciences.
