The Department of Facilities Management invites applications for a General Mechanic, who will complete preventative maintenance repairs to the mechanical systems on campus, which includes changing belts and filters, pool maintenance, changing oil, lubing mechanical systems and other jobs of this nature. The General Mechanic also performs basic HVAC, plumbing and electrical repairs. 
 
Evening shift is required.  The start and end time of the evening shift is negotiable.

Position Requirements


  • 3 years demonstrated experience/ability in general electrical, HVAC and plumbing. 
  • Ability to lift at minimum 50 pounds
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record

Position Preferred Qualifications/Experience

  • General working knowledge of the trades (Plumbing, Electric, & HVAC).  
  • Certifications welcomed
