Job Description

Are you an ambitious researcher looking for your next challenge? Do you have a background in Architecture and Sense of Belonging research? Do you want to further your career in one of the UK’s leading research-intensive Universities? Do you want to work on a research project alongside leading academics in Intercultural Cities and Sense of Belonging in Green Spaces?

The candidate will support a Research England interdisciplinary project that addresses questions about living within diverse communities and ways of reimagining green spaces to promote a sense of belonging. We aim to develop an evidence-based spatial analysis, community-use mapping, and cultural and community behaviour attitudes towards green spaces underpinned by under-represented community voices and interests in parks.

The post holder will support the ‘Integrating Intercultural Cities through Belonging in the Green Spaces’ research project, and will aid the team in conducting a series of knowledge sharing workshops aimed at co-creating green space policies with residents, students, community groups, non-profit organisations, councillors and policy-makers.
