Job Description

Salary: Grade 7 (£35,333 – £42,155 p.a. depending on experience)

This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner.   We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

The Transformation Office will enable the University to achieve programme outcomes and is focused on developing and delivering projects with a user-centred approach and is committed to improving student and staff experience.

Working on key projects in the portfolio the Project Manager role will report to a Lead Programme Manager and support the Senior Project Managers, shaping projects /programmes and managing their implementation at the various stages of the lifecycle. We currently have multiple opportunities available across our diverse portfolio, including digital / Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), capital infrastructure, and student education related transformational projects and programmes. 

As a Project Manager, you must be able to juggle priorities, managing both stakeholder expectations and risks, you will be responsible for delivering projects through their lifecycles: planning; managing risks and issues; benefits tracking and providing accurate and articulate reports on their progress. With relevant experience in applying project methodologies, you may have some understanding of the HE environment and the ability to challenge accepted norms, as well as being comfortable working with limited supervision.
