Job Description

Are you an early career researcher looking for a challenge?   Do you have a background in molecular and cellular biology? Do you want to further your career in one of the UK’s leading research intensive Universities?

You will join a small team of 3 researchers and 2 PhD students, working in a laboratory focussed on the structure and function of myosins. We use a combination of approaches from light to electron microscopy, including CryoEM to solve structures, correlative CryoEM tomography on cells, and super-resolution imaging,­ to understand how myosin activity and regulation is important for cell behaviour in healh and disease. 

You should have a Degree, BTEC higher level or equivalent or equivalent experience. You should also have experience in mammalian and/or insect cell culture and cell biology (this can include a period in Further or Higher Education).
