The Department of Architecture at Ball State University seeks applicants for multiple part-time semester instructor positions available August 2022.

The courses include either 3 or 6 credit hour courses (studio, and lecture courses) for Architecture students located in Muncie and/or Indianapolis.

The Estopinal College of Architecture and Planning (CAP) at Ball State University has a rich history in community engaged, professional grounded, innovative and impactful design education. The Department of Architecture offers undergraduate and graduate architecture programs that emphasize the education of architecture and historic preservation students through design studio, immersive and experiential learning, design computation, digital fabrication, engagement with social and environmental justice issues, and critical practice in pursuit of preparing the next generation of leaders in architecture and historic preservation. We are committed to reaffirm the values of social equity and environmental responsibility, in particular as they relate to the design of the built environment.

Job Function:

The Department of Architecture at Ball State University seeks applicants for multiple part-time semester instructor positions available August 2022.

The courses include either 3 or 6 credit hour courses (studio, and lecture courses) for Architecture students located in Muncie and/or Indianapolis.

Minimum Experience:

An accredited Master of Architecture degree, master degree of specialization within the discipline of Architecture, or Bachelor of Architecture degree from an accredited institution, or candidate may qualify based on Tested Experience Criteria.

Preferred Experience:

Professional license in Architecture; Master degree in Architecture or related field from an accredited college or university; evidence of quality of design work; evidence of contributions to the profession through professional practice and service; a record of quality teaching experience; evidence of quality scholarship; experience with contemporary design media.
