Are you an academic with proven abilities to carry out teaching and research in the field of cultural and creative industries? Are you passionate about delivering an exceptional student experience in a research-intensive Russell Group University? 

We are looking for an outstanding researcher and educator in the cultural and creative industries ideally with a specialism in creative production and/or management in the creative industries. We would particularly welcome applicants with knowledge of the commercial sector, digital cultures or festivals and events. An understanding of this across different global contexts is particularly desirable.

You will develop high quality research outputs and attract funding to support your developing research agenda. Your research will complement and further develop the School’s existing research strengths in cultural value, participation and engagement, policy and leadership; places, spaces and environments; digital culture, pedagogies and practices.

You will also contribute to teaching across the School, on undergraduate and postgraduate modules, including lecturing, seminar delivery, dissertation supervision and assessment including our sector-leading and innovative programmes in Global Creative Industries, Culture, Creativity and Entrepreneurship and Global Performance and Cultural Industries. You will contribute to the effective management of the School, Faculty and wider University.

With relevant research and teaching experience and a PhD in a related field, you will have the ability to make an outstanding contribution to the dynamic research life of the School and you will be committed to delivering an exceptional student experience.
