Rehabilitative Services Director

Position Highlights:

This role is directly responsible for directing the clinical and administrative operations of the Nutrition, Nutrition Support, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology departments. This person will oversee the managers and supervisors responsible for the day-to-day operations of these areas. Will be responsible for budgets, staffing, policy management, regulatory adherence, and strategic growth of all departments. 

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree
  • 3 years of management experience
  • Specialty Certification in area of expertise (Ex. CSO, Board Certified, etc.)
  • Must be licensed in one of the following specialties: OT, PT, SLP or RD

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains oversight of clinical practices in order to independently create and maintain departmental policies and procedures
  • Collaborates with Senior Director on all budget and forecast setting
  • Provides monthly updates for all budgetary expense and revenues
  • Maintains TJC, CMS, AHCA readiness for assigned areas
  • Oversight of assigned managers, supervisors in their HR activities including interviewing, hiring, coaching/counseling, terminating, evaluating job performance, training, competencies, employee relations, etc.
  • Creates, maintains, and ensures department compliance for all department policies and procedures

Credentials and Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree
  • BLS
  • Must be licensed in one of the following: OT, PT, SLP or RD
  • 3 years of management experience  
  • 5 years of experience in an acute care setting
  • 2 years of oncology experience
