Group Class Instructors focuses primarily on helping all members “get to a healthier place.” An instructor must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to create and conduct safe and effective exercises for a wide variety of participant skill levels. In addition, they must be comfortable and confident with teaching a wide variety of learners and influencing behavior changes.

The Ball State University School of Kinesiology welcomes applications for a Temporary CrossFit Instructor to help members get healthier!   We are excited to have this opening and look forward to seeing you on the CrossFit team!

In addition, they must be comfortable and confident with teaching a wide variety of learners and influencing behavior changes.

Minimum Education:

High School diploma or equivalent. 

Minimum Experience:

Must have prior experience teaching crossfit in a group exercise format. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The instructor provides guidance, education, and encouragement, but most importantly develops relationships with all members to improve retention. 
  • Cardinal Wellness expects instructors to possess above average customer service skills and be on a mission to provide a “surprisingly personable experience” with everyone he/she meets.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
