Job Description

A postdoctoral position is available immediately to study regulatory aspects of DNA replication and repair in human cells. We seek an outstanding and highly motivated individual to participate in a collaborative research team that studies mechanisms of replication stress response. The central areas of investigation include: 1) Mechanistic analysis of the factors regulating stalled fork protection. 2) Discovery and analysis of replication stress response proteins. 3) Elucidation of post translational modifications at damaged replication factories and its relevance in cancer models.

The Dungrawala lab utilizes a diverse array of approaches including but not limited to genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry and proteomics. Applicants with a recent Ph.D. in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology with a strong working knowledge in mammalian cell systems are encouraged to apply.
