Job Description

The Research and Innovation Office is looking to hire a collaborative and upbeat Program Manager for the Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I&E) Initiative. You will serve as a pivotal part of the campus’ flagship New Venture Challenge competition, and support other key activities including the execution of key events and programs, management of the Innovation Station, and oversight of the Student Innovation Action Team.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
NVC Program Manager and Other Event Support
Event management: Provide support to NVC through the management and execution of all event planning, including budgeting, securing sites, coordinating with vendors, catering, etc.
Plan and execute other key I&E events.
Communications: May build, revise, and implement communication strategies to improve the NVC program. Responsible for the creation of marketing and external relation materials vital to support the program.
Mentor recruitment and management.
Team management and support: Collaborates with NVC leadership and administrative staff to further develop program opportunities, and make recommendations for better engagement across the department. Provides collaborative support to Catalyze CU.
Contact management: Utilizes appropriate processes and databases for tracking contacts/partners/collaborators.
Sponsorship: Responsible for soliciting sponsorship support. Tracking sponsorships. Managing funds.
Website management: This position is responsible for maintaining the website content for the NVC.
Assist in revising content and making changes to the website as necessary.
I&E Program Management & Support
Operate and supervise the Startup Hub at Williams Village Center.
Manage other programmatic support as I&E grows.
Committee and Special Projects Support
Manage logistics (planning, agendas, documents, follow-ups, etc.) for multiple steering committees (I.E. Innovation & Entrepreneurship Steering Committee, Co-Conspirators, etc.).
