Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

Under limited supervision coordinate and manage University of Wyoming procedures and facility needs for Casper and Sheridan incubators.



This position requires travel up to 25-50% of the time, as necessary.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Advocate for completion of WTBC Casper and Sheridan projects, initiatives, and value-added client support by helping the sites negotiate UW's business processes, procedures, and regulations. As such, this position will require a strong understanding of the University's organizational structure, finance, and human resource systems. This position will require a strong understanding of the University’s financial and human resource systems
Serve as the building/property manager for WTBC Casper & Sheridan regarding coordination of client requests; repair/ maintenance requirements with UW departments and outside service vendors; office/lab space turn requirements; liaison between Casper & Sheridan clients and Laramie-based UW interns; use UW registrar database to identify students with hometowns in Casper & Sheridan and assist in marketing internship opportunities in those communities. Maintain and compile reports on WTBC client move-in/move-out procedures, key and access cards, rent payments & deposits. Position will be the point of contact for facility issues at WTBC Casper.
Develop client event project action plans, timelines and budgets. Research and gather resources needed for event projects. Implement event project action plans, making sure the projects are completed on time and within budget. These projects include, but are not limited to, e2e Wyoming events, One Million Cups, statewide entrepreneurial event, WTBC client selection committee meetings, WTBC client mixers, Competition mixers & promotional events. Coordinate with outside stakeholders on events and client activities. Serve as point of contact for all building events.
Represent the WTBC at local and other WTBC location events. Collaborate with business resource network partners by providing referrals. Promote the programs and events of the WTBC statewide network. Serve as a resource, provide information, discuss problems and solutions with WTBC staff; provide support to other WTBC locations statewide
Participates in the development, implementation, and maintenance of departmental policies, objectives, and procedures. Collect, review, interpret and prepare data for programmatic reports to federal and state funding partners. Develop project goals and objectives and revise as necessary; develop and implement a comprehensive plan for delivery and assessment of project objectives and goals.
Develop recruiting and funding strategies; plan and write grant proposals; negotiate approval of grant awards; write reports on status of funded projects.
Confers with departmental representatives regarding plans, operating methods, and staffing levels, and monitors budgets and makes periodic reports on revenues and expenditures. Prepares reports, analysis and correspondence pertaining to various functions. Presents research findings and recommendations to program director, the board of directors, and the general public.
Assist Director in administering human resources activities. Duties include initiating, reviewing and assisting others in using HR system for recruiting/hiring, pay, and employment changes. Assist the Director in managing the financial operations of the unit including hiring employment changes, revenue reports, budget analysis, and cost approval.
