Job Description

Job Purpose
Works both independently and as a member of the Chair's team to translate systematic reviews, and other medical evidence into information products, grants and  continuing medical education modules for the Effective Health Care Program.
 
Job Duties
  • Prepares scientific presentations based on systematic reviews and reports.
  • Reviews, synthesizes, and translates medical literature to aid and prepare publications.
  • Gathers, interprets, and synthesizes data and presents results in a clear manner.
  • Translates findings from systematic reviews into Key Concept and Key Message documents. Drafts and edits manuscripts for clinicians, and faculty team.
  • Ensures manuscripts, grants, and award documents meet specific guidelines.
  • Writes project reports, edits and formats scholarly products and documents as  per required templates.
  • Collaborates with chair, team, and faculty on the creation and editions of CME products based on systematic reviews and reports.
  • Tracks and follows up on status of ongoing projects.
  • Prepares research and grant proposals, and grant reports according to the specifications of sponsor agencies.
Minimum Qualifications

Required: 
Master's degree in biological sciences, medical writing, or a related field.
Five years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred: PhD Degree in related field
