Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship – Quantitative Health Sciences

Modeling and Forecasting Methods for Dynamic Systems in Healthcare

The Department of Quantitative Health Sciences (QHS) is seeking a post-doctoral fellow to join a multidisciplinary group of investigators, led by Jarrod E. Dalton, PhD and Adam T. Perzynski, PhD (NIA R01AG055480), to help develop methods and tools for advanced modeling of dynamic systems in health care, with a disease focus on cardiovascular aging in diverse populations.

The scope of the planned work includes contributions to new and ongoing software development projects, authorship of corresponding research manuscripts, and applications of the developed methods toward complex dynamic modeling problems in health care. We will develop and implement methods for constructing probabilistic dynamic systems and quantifying forecast accuracy.

QHS is located in the Lerner Research Institute of the Cleveland Clinic and consists of >90 faculty, biostatisticians, analysts, data scientists, and programmers working in diverse areas of basic, clinical and translational research. The Cleveland Clinic Foundation was founded in 1921 with the goal of integrating a team-based approach clinical and hospital care with research and education.
