POSITION SUMMARY:
This position provides administrative support to leadership and staff of Administrative Information Management Services (AIMS) organization, an IT service provider serving Finance and Administrative units on campus. Duties include scheduling and organizing events, purchasing and billing, complex calendaring and proactive calendar management, coordinating travel arrangements, administrative support of department recruitments, managing general department office activities, and serving as a point of contact for the department within AIMS, the university, and UW System.

DEGREE AND AREA OF SPECIALIZATION:
No Degree Required

MINIMUM YEARS AND TYPE OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:
1. Effective interpersonal, verbal and communication skills to effectively communicate with a variety of individuals.
2. Excellent computer literacy and proficient Microsoft Office experience including: MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, and Office 365.
3. Excellent writing and composition skills including grammar, punctuation and spelling.
4. Excellent organizational and planning skills and the ability to manage a wide variety of activities and projects simultaneously.
5. Familiarity using cloud applications for document sharing and management.
6. Preferred Qualifications:
-Minimum of three years of administrative support experience.
-Ability to handle a fast paced and challenging environment.
-Ability to exercise considerable independent judgment.
-Demonstrate experience in adapting to and learning in a complex environment.
