Employment Type: Adjunct Faculty, schedule varies based on course needs. Classes may be taught during the day as well as evenings and Saturdays.

Salary: Adjunct faculty are paid on a per credit hour basis, commensurate with highest degree held.

SUMMARY:

The Adjunct Faculty, Lecturer of Art is responsible for teaching ARTE 101 Two-Dimensional Design or ARTE 102 Three Dimensional Design The person in this position will teach 100 level undergraduate foundational art curriculum as specified by the Art and Design Department.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:


REQUIRED:

Masters of Fine Art in Studio Art, Design or related field
Experience teaching art courses (two years preferred)
Demonstrated enthusiasm for teaching
Effective communication and organizational skills
PREFERRED:

Experience teaching as instructor of record
