Position Purpose
Working across the Tuck Advancement division and in accordance with Tuck’s mission, strategy, and institutional priorities, manages a variety of projects and tasks to ensure a positive experience for alumni and donors and the smooth operations of the department.

Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp Bachelors or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
  • At least five years of relevant administrative and project management experience.
  • Experience with fundraising activities for nonprofit organizations or comparable experience
  • High accuracy, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with alumni/donor management systems or other CRM databases, or the ability to quickly master new technologies with training.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to support, contribute to, and strengthen a vibrant, culturally diverse, and inclusive learning community of students, alumni, faculty, and fellow professionals.
  • Able to anticipate, deliver on, and exceed the expectations of donors and colleagues and to collaborate effectively.

Key Accountabilities

Description
Department Management: Serves as a partner to Tuck Advancement leadership managing logistics for external and internal meetings with alumni, donors, and institutional leaders. Communicates with key constituents on behalf of Advancement leaders. Prepares data and presentations. Manages travel itineraries, contracts, payments, and reimbursements. Provides support for staff recruitment. Maintains a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity.

Description
Volunteer Management and Communications: As initial point of contact for Tuck alumni volunteers, facilitates communications needs for volunteer driven events and initiatives. Works in constituent engagement management system to prepare volunteer communications and supports communications in partnership with the Assistant Director, Advancement Operations. Interfaces with alumni to answer questions. Manages departmental mail and email inboxes, working across teams to secure answers to alumni inquiries. Serves as project manager for print mail solicitations and other print projects.

Description
Data and Gift Management: Assists with Tuck Annual Giving (TAG) commitment entry and corrections, coordinating with Dartmouth’s Office of Gift Recording and TAG staff to ensure efficient and accurate documentation. Manages timely entry of alumni activity coding in CRM database and ODA salary tool, maintaining accurate and consistent records for alumni engagement (event registration and participation, career coaching, volunteer activity, etc.).
