Rider University invites applications for the position of Director of Sponsored Programs and Research within the Division of Academic Affairs. The Director of Sponsored Programs and Research is responsible for researching and identifying governmental funding sources, supporting faculty through the grant proposal development process, engaging faculty and staff in the grant writing process, providing technical support to faculty and staff involved in a grant application, and providing training for proposal development. The Director also is responsible for maintaining all aspects of grant-related recordkeeping and ensuring that the University complies with all federal and state requirements. This role will ensure that the University is meeting the agreed-upon deliverables and expectations for each grant. The Director will collaborate with the Grants Account Manager in Finance to ensure that appropriate financial reporting is submitted promptly. Additionally, the Director will collaborate with subject matter experts and the University Advancement team to help identify private and public funding sources that may be potential prospects for the various faculty efforts. The Director will work closely with faculty, staff, and administrators using an inclusive, customer service-oriented approach to support the work of the Rider community. |
