Position Description:

The UofL School of Music is seeking a Temporary Department Coordinator III. This is a pre-college casual temporary administrative position with teaching opportunities available.

Duties include:

  • Administrating and facilitating activities within the String Preparatory Center (SPC), as well as coordinating with collegiate and administrative support staff on aspects of pre-collegiate string pedagogy

  • Ensure all tasks through SPC programs and String area follow compliance to all university polices and procedures

  • The SPC programs include pre-collegiate lessons in violin, viola, cello, bass, piano, and guitar; String Academy, a Saturday program for gifted students; and various other outreach events during the summer and academic year

  • Developing and participating in recruitment strategies both for the SPC and collegiate programs at UofL

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
